Congratulations to our cross country team for their performance this past week at the Mountain Classic 2K and Morgan County Last Chance Meet on Saturday after competing in the Halloween meet on Monday.
At the Mountain Classic for the elementary, in the 4th and under race, Case Isaac captured 6th place in its a time of 11:07 and Axl Howard finished in 8th at 16:06. In the 6th and under race, Gunner Williams captured the 5th place medal with a time of 9:40.
At the Morgan County Last Chance meet on Saturday, everyone who ran got a personal best on a tough course. Annabella Allgood ran the 5K in 30:54. On the boys team JP Owens finished with 25:26, Kameron Rudd with 27:53, Levi Jordan with 32:22 and Aiden Stephens with 36:16. Great times for everyone! They will compete at the KHSAA 2A Regional
Championships on Saturday, October 24, at 10:00 am.
