With the pending weather, we wanted to remind for our HWMS 8th Gr. Students who are interested in applying for Rogers Explorer. The final due date for all applications to be submitted is January 31. We have ran into similar situations in the past, and there are no extensions for weather related circumstances, since the application is open for so long.
Please make sure that if your student is interested in applying, they are actively working on their submission; this is not something that can be completed well, at the last minute. Part of the submission requires a signed transcript from both 7th and 8th grade, as well as three letters of recommendation. All students who have requested this documentation so far, have been given their copies.
